Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in October 2020 increased compared to September 2020, namely from US $ 762.58 million to US $ 770.90 million or an increase of 1.09 percent. When compared to October 2019, North Sumatra's exports increased by 19.14 percent

The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in North Sumatra's export value in October 2020 against September 2020 was the tobacco group of US $ 15.43 million (118.19%).

Exports to China in October 2020 were the largest at US $ 103.32 million, followed by the United States at US $ 86.86 million and India at US $ 57.95 million with the contribution of the three reaching 32.19 percent.

According to the main group of export destination countries in October 2020, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 272.02 (35.29%)
