The number of foreign tourists to Sumatera Utara in May 2022 was 3.861 visits

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting Sumatera Utara through 4 (four) entrances in May 2022 reached 3.861 visits, while in April 2022 there were 494 foreign tourists who came to visit in Sumatera Utara.

In the May 2022 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 2.680,89 percent compared to the same period in 2021, from 50 visits in May 2021 to 3.861 visits in May 2022.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) for star hotels in Sumatera Utara in May 2022 was an average of 49,09 percent, or increased by 15,26 points compared to April 2022 of 33,83 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star hotels was 1,48 days during May 2022, down 0,01 points compared to April 2022.

The number of domestic passengers departing from Sumatera Utara via Kualanamu International Airport during May 2022 was recorded at 245.423 people, up 46,46 5,51 percent compared to April 2022 which was recorded at 167.574 people.
