Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the Sumatera Utara region in October 2022 decreased compared to September 2022, namely from US$1.15 billion to US$1.08 billion, a decrease of 6.27 percent. When compared to October 2021, Sumatera Utara's exports decreased by 2.03 percent
The group of goods that experienced the largest decline in export value in October 2022 compared to September 2022 was the aluminum group of US$29.81 million (-76.26%) while the group of goods that experienced the largest increase in export value was the animal/vegetable fats and oils group of US$17 .49 million (3.45%).
Exports to China in October 2022 were the largest, namely US$231.24 million, followed by the United States of US$109.08 million and India of US$95.02 million with the contribution of the three of them reaching 40.45 percent.
According to the main group of export destinations in October 2022, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US$436.21 million (40.53%).
