February 2023, Sumatera Utara's exports have increased by 12.80 percent

Abstract

The value of exports through loading ports in the Sumatera Utara region in February 2023 increased compared to January 2023, namely from US$814.16 million to US$918.411 million, an increase of 12.80 percent. When compared to February 2022, Sumatera Utara's exports increased by 3.73 percent.
The group of goods that experienced the largest increase in export value in February 2023 compared to January 2023 was the animal/vegetable fats and oils group of US$94.50 million (28.78%) while the group of goods that experienced the largest decline in export value was the food industry waste/waste group. decreased by US$36.97 million (-39.34%).
Exports to China in February 2023 were the largest, namely US$175.21 million, followed by the United States of US$103.31 million and India of US$76.89 million with the contribution of the three of them reaching 38.70 percent.
According to the main export destination countries in February 2023, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US$366.97 million (39.96%)
