Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting North Sumatra through 4 (four) entrances in February 2024 reached 24,764 visits, while in January 2024 there were 14,851 foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra.
  • For the January - February 2024 period, the number of foreign tourists visiting North Sumatra increased by 35.29 percent when compared to the same period in 2023, namely from 29,282 visits in January - February 2023, it rose to 39,615 visits in the 2024 period.
  • The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star hotels in North Sumatra in February 2024 averaged 48.06 percent, or an increase of 3.26 points compared to January 2024 of 44.80 percent.
  • The average length of stay for foreign guests and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.40 days during February 2024, an increase of 0.12 points compared to January 2024 of 1.28 days.
