June 2020, North Sumatra's exports increased by 25.58 percent

Abstract

The value of exports through the port of loading in the North Sumatra region in June 2020 increased compared to May 2020, from US $ 519.19 million to US $ 652.02 million or an increase of 25.58 percent. When compared with June 2019, North Sumatra's exports experienced an increase of 23.90 percent

The group of goods that experienced the largest increase in export value of North Sumatra in June 2020 against May 2020 was the animal and vegetable fat and oil group of US $ 65.67 million (37.04%).

Exports to China in June 2020 were the largest at US $ 82.96 million followed by the United States at US $ 76.09 million and India at US $ 70.21 million with the contribution of the three reaching 35.16 percent.

According to the group of main export destinations in June 2020, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 232.80 (35.71%)
