Abstract

  • The value of exports through loading ports in the North Sumatra region in January 2021 increased compared to December 2020, namely from US $ 748.58 million to US $ 799.21 million or an increase of 6.76 percent. When compared to January 2020, North Sumatra's exports increased by 35.45 percent
    • The category of goods that experienced the largest increase in North Sumatra's export value in January 2021 against December 2020 was the animal / vegetable fat and oil group of US $ 67.30 million (23.72%).
      Exports to the United States in January 2021 were the largest, namely US $ 81.84 million, followed by China at US $ 69.76 million and India at US $ 63.19 million with the contribution of the three reaching 26.88 percent.
      According to the group of main export destination countries in January 2021, exports to the Asian region (outside ASEAN) were the largest with a value of US $ 223.43 (27.96%)
