The Coal Economy in 2021 will grow by 2.35 percent. Increased compared to 2020 which experienced a contraction of -0.31 percent.
Based on the production approach, the highest growth was achieved by the Business Fields Information and Communication by 7.04 percent, followed by Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries by 4.80 percent, as well as the Large Trade Business Field and Retail; Repair of Cars and Motorcycles by 3.60 percent.
Three Business Fields that give a dominant role to the GRDP of Batu Regency The new coal in 2021 are: Processing Industry Business Field by 45.72 percent; Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Fields by 20.25 percent; as well as Wholesale and Retail Trade Business Fields; Car and Motorcycle Repair by 17.89 percent.
When viewed from the expenditure approach, growth for the Formation Component Gross Fixed Capital at 2.97 percent, followed by the Consumption Expenditure Component Household 1.89 percent. Meanwhile, the LNPRT Consumption Component experienced contraction by 0.33 percent and the Government Consumption Component contracted by 2.24 percent.
Based on the expenditure side, the Component of Household Consumption Expenditure (PKRT) gave the largest contribution, which was 39.79 percent; following Net Component Exports of 32.55 percent; and the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component of 19.53 percent.
In nominal terms, the GRDP of Batu Bara Regency in 2021 at current prices reached Rp. 37,197.71 billion and the GRDP of Batu Bara Regency in 2021 on the basis of constant price reached Rp 24,486.05 billion
