ECONOMIC GROWTH OF BATU BARA REGENCY IN 2022

The Batu Bara’s Economy in 2022 will grow by 4.07 percent. Increased compared to 2021 which experienced growth 2.35 percent. Based on the production approach, the highest growth was achieved by the Other Services Activities by 7.40 percent, followed by Large Trade Business Field and Retail; Repair of Cars and Motorcycles by 6.52 percent, as well as the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries by 6.24 percent.

Three Business Fields that give a dominant role to the GRDP of Batu Regency The new coal in 2022 are: Processing Industry Business Field by 45.55 percent; Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Fields by 21.08 percent; as well as Wholesale and Retail Trade Business Fields; Car and Motorcycle Repair by 17.82 percent.

When viewed from the expenditure side, growth occurred in almost all expenditure components, except for the Government Consumption Component (PK-P), which contracted by 0.16 percent. The highest growth occurred in the LNPRT Consumption Component (PK-LNPRT) of 3.85 percent.

Based on the expenditure side, the Component of Household Consumption Expenditure (PKRT) gave the largest contribution, which was 39.28 percent; following Net Component Exports of 33.97 percent; and the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component of 18.96 percent.

In nominal terms, the GRDP of Batu Bara Regency in 2022 at current prices reached Rp. 40,866.72 billion and the GRDP of Batu Bara Regency in 2022 on the basis of constant price reached Rp 25,482.21 billion.
