Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara through 3 (three) entry points in December 2024 reached 21,400 visits or increased by 10.75 percent compared to foreign tourists arriving in November 2024 which amounted to 19,322 visits.

In the period January - December 2024, the number of foreign tourists visiting Sumatera Utara increased by 26.32 percent compared to the same period in 2023, namely from 198,240 visits in January - December 2023 to 250,413 visits in the period 2024.

The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in Sumatera Utara in December 2024 averaged 49.33 percent, or increased by 4.17 points compared to November 2024 which was 44.83 percent.

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star-rated hotels was 1.31 days during December 2024, or unchanged compared to November 2024.
